Nanki always had the desire to make a significant difference in the lives of others and therefore qualified as an Occupational Therapist. After her second son was stillborn at 39 weeks gestation, in 2016, she started The Hope Box Initiative.

She makes hope boxes to give to parents who have also suffered from perinatal loss. It is her desire to provide support, encouragement, and hope and to make the journey of others less lonely. She is married to Iwan, and has three boys, Joshua, Kaleb (in heaven) and Uzziah. She currently runs a private practice as an Occupational Therapist, working mostly with children.
